Jon Siren has been a professional musician for over 20 years traveling the globe and recording with bands such as: IAMX, Front Line Assembly, Psyclon Nine, Skold, Early Man, Pop Will Eat Itself, Imperative Reaction, Mankind Is Obsolete, Dismantled, Information Society, System Syn, Hate Dept, White Empress, etc. Jon has a bachelors degree in "Music Performance" from Musicians Institute and has taught students at various levels. Jon specializes in industrial, electronic, rock and metal genres and understands modern approaches to live drumming which can include click tracks, electronic percussion and loops. The Touring Vegan

As a long term vegan since the mid 90's, Jon ran into several challenges over the years maintaining his dietary lifestyle while traveling with bands. After many hurdles along the way, Jon was inspired to write down his strategies of remaining healthy on a vegan diet while touring. The book includes his inspiration for following this path, his philosophy, tour recipes, how to order food at non-vegan restaurants, some road stories, and a lot more. Jon hopes that the book will inspire other touring vegans and those who share compassion for animals.
